You can use an existing email campaign as a template to build a new campaign. You can clone either campaigns that you've created from scratch, or clone from existing Findem-provided templates.
Clone from a Pre-Built Findem Campaign Template
- To clone email campaigns for your shortlisted candidates, navigate over to the Outreach tab from your Findem project and select Create Campaign > Existing Campaign.
-
Click the name of the existing email campaign you wish to clone. The list will first show Findem-built templates. Clicking one of these to use will automatically clone it. Now you can make any edits, including retitling, and the pre-built template will remain the same.
- To view it and make changes to the cloned campaign, click the Edit Mode. Read about email editing & scheduling options on the Email Customization Options article.
Note:
Any variables that were part of the original campaign will also be cloned over. After you assign the cloned campaign to a Talent Pool or recipients in Findem's CRM, the campaign may briefly appear in a processing state. Once processing is complete, the campaign will automatically begin sending emails to the targeted Talent Pool based on your configured schedule.
Clone from a Campaign You or Your Colleague Created
- To clone from campaign that you built, from the same list as above, locate your campaign and click it. From the campaign page, you'll see a Shared Template button. Click that.
- Click Clone to create a cloned version of your campaign template. Now you can edit that, and the existing template, that may be already in use for other campaigns, will not change.
After you've cloned and updated the campaign content, assign the cloned campaign to the recipients or assignment group you want to target, and set it as the project's default campaign so new workflows use it automatically.
Important:
When you clone a campaign template, it remains linked as a 'shared template'. Any changes made to one campaign will automatically update other linked campaigns. If you want to create an independent campaign, you must disconnect the template during the cloning process by selecting the option to unlink it from the original template.
Troubleshooting:
If you don't see the Shared Template icon when trying to add a campaign, check if the campaign template is currently linked to any existing project. The Shared Template icon only appears for templates that are actively associated with a project. If the template is not linked to any project, you can add the campaign template to a new project without affecting other campaigns.
