Automated User Follow-up Notifications
We’ve added a feature to help businesses send automatic follow-up emails to their customers when needed, without manual effort. Here's how it works:
Why this matters
Sometimes, customers start a process (like signing up or making a payment) but don’t finish. This new feature automatically sends a follow-up email to remind them or guide them through the next steps. It’s like having a virtual assistant that checks in on your customers for you!
How it works
-
- Smart Notifications: The system can recognize when a customer is active or inactive and send them a message at the right time.
- Flexible for Any Business: Originally created for one specific use, we’ve made this feature flexible so businesses can use it for different purposes (e.g., reminders, updates, or promotions).
- Customizable for Growth: Developers can tweak and expand it to meet new needs in the future.
What’s the Benefit?
This helps businesses stay connected with customers, increase follow-through on purchases or signups, and improve overall customer satisfaction – all automatically!
SAP SuccessFactors ATS Integration
What is it?
Connecting your SAP SuccessFactors (SAPSF) ATS with Findem allows you to access candidate information, boost collaboration and view all applicant data in both Findem and SAPSF without having to switch between platforms.
Findem’s integration with SAPSF is a bi-directional sync between both platforms, meaning recruiters can accelerate their workflows. With this integration, you can:
- Save time and worry knowing that up to-date candidate information is displayed in both Findem and SAPSF
- View all hiring/recruiter notes and attachments in SAPSF for a complete view of your candidate interactions
- Automatically create or update a candidate profile within SAPSF when a candidate responds to an email message

Administrator Control of Advance/Reject Reasons
What is it?
The ability for admins to control the visible advance/rejection reason options during candidate dispositioning. Additionally for Workday, this feature enables the ability to ingest a configuration file from Workday to enable the advance/rejection reasons.
Now, in the Integrations > Stage Mapping menu, for non-Workday users, you'll see two new options to exclude various advance/reject reasons. By excluding these, your users will no longer be able to choose them with advancing or rejecting candidates.
For Workday ATS users, this menu will look slightly different. Once you've provided us with the applicable CSV during your Workday ATS setup, you should see similar menu to the image below, where you can toggle various advance/reject reasons based on your file upload.
Why did we build it?
Users often have legacy advance/rejection reasons that they would like to hide from selection, or prefer that only a subset of them be selectable during the application review process.
For Workday customers, this file upload and configuration process has mainly been conducted manually through a series of meetings. This feature provides your admin users with the ability to manage this process self-serve.
Industry Attribute Sorting and Selection Enhancements
When sorting through Industries in the Attributes menu of any project, you can now:
- Search attributes within a parent categories
- Select all items within a parent category with one click
Why did we build it?
Industries were stored in a flat list in alphabetical order, which made it super hard to find related industries.
Some industries have different names from what the user is expecting (e.g., Funds vs Lending and Investments). Now categories with alternate names can be discovered easily under the appropriate parent. This allows easier navigation through the very long list of industries Findem supports. For the full list of industries, check out this article.
LinkedIn Messaging and Response Tracking
We've improved LinkedIn messaging workflows and tracking within the platform.
How does it work?
Before, if we couldn't find a candidate's email, Findem would instruct you to "Message on LinkedIn." The problem was, there was no way of tracking in Findem once you'd messaged them and what their response type was. Now, there's a drop down under the Campaign Status column of your campaign to mark candidates as reached out. Then once they respond via LinkedIn, you can go to the dropdown and specify the response type. This makes tracking much easier and work in line with the campaign workflow with less manual effort.
Users can now update a candidate’s campaign status to “Message sent via LinkedIn.” This status can be toggled back if needed for flexibility.
- Clicking the option will display a confirmation modal.
- Clicking Confirm will update the status to "Messaged on LinkedIn" and stop the campaign. This change will also appear in the Activities tab on the candidate's enriched profile (see image below).
This will lead to streamlined campaign management. When the status is updated to "Message sent via LinkedIn," the candidate is automatically removed from the campaign to ensure cleaner workflows and accurate tracking.
- Activity Logging: Every status change is logged in the candidate's activity feed, providing a clear record of when a candidate was removed from a campaign and messaged via LinkedIn.
- Response Tracking: Once the status is set to "Message sent via LinkedIn," a new dropdown appears, allowing users to specify and track the candidate's response type.
- Campaign Re-Entry: If a candidate is manually added back to the campaign, their status will remain consistent with the workflow logic, ensuring campaigns maintain their integrity.
This update empowers users to better manage LinkedIn outreach and track candidate interactions seamlessly within the platform.
Filtering by Custom Fields in CRM
Users have had trouble in the past sorting by their preferred methods in the CRM tab. With this update, CRM users can now add/edit custom fields in the enriched profile, filter candidates by custom field values and use them as variables in a campaign.
Once you set your preferred fields in CRM Preferences, you can view and filter by those fields in your CRM.
CRM Fields as Campaign Variables
Users can now leverage our CRM for referrals (upload a list with referral info as a custom field, put those into lists) in an email campaign.
What is it?
You can now use custom fields as variables in campaigns.
To get started using your own custom fields as variables in campaign emails:
- Check a box next to each custom field on the CRM preferences page. Checking this box will create a campaign variable that can be used in campaigns. The naming of the variable will follow the custom field's name, replacing space with '_'.
- Now, when crafting a campaign email, when you go to insert a variable, you'll see your custom field in the dropdown menu.
New Candidate Row Design Across All Hiring Channels
What is it?
- New two-column layout for Experience & Education, and improved interaction context visibility
- New standardized design and improved scanning patterns to pull forward Findem differentiated data
- Benefits include streamlined onboarding, enhanced UX, easier integration of user feedback, and clearer value demos
- Consistent row design implemented across all channels*
- Consistent action buttons
*Except ongoing Inbound Applicants - pending redesign
Why did we build it?
At the same time, users needed more context about candidates without opening extra panels, and the varying content, layout, and interactions made it difficult to quickly assess candidates. To address these issues, we've implemented a consistent row design. This should enhance the user experience, streamline onboarding, and enable ongoing improvements.
UX Upgrades to Inbound Applicants - Resume Parsing States for SAP, Lever, Ashby, Smart Recruiters ATSs
What is it?
- You'll see a notice that a resume is still being processed, completed or failed to process. No score will appear in these cases.
- You can always download and review the resume if an error occurred, or if you'd like to evaluate the candidate while a resume processing is in flight.
Why did we build it?
- Resume data is the gold standard data in Inbound Applicants. Users expect that the score generated on the Inbound Applicants tab is considering the resume data directly.
- In some cases, the resume was not being considered in the match score if it was "processing, fetching, failed to process" and the score shown was only considering public profile information. This left users confused when data changed.
- Once the processing was complete the score might often change. Now, no score is provided until resume data has been parced.
