Shortlisting candidates means you're selecting top candidates for engagement and adding them to a list. This list is used for launching email campaigns. Findem provides multiple ways to shortlist candidates based on your sourcing workflow including:
- Manually shortlisting a candidate
- Bulk shortlisting candidates
- Shortlisting a candidate directly from the Findem Chrome Extension
This article covers the first two options. Check out How to shortlist a candidate directly from the Findem Chrome extension article.
How to Manually Shortlist a Candidate
- Find the already conducted Search from which you want to shortlist candidates.
- On the user's profile preview, find the checkmark icon and click it. This is the Shortlist Profile option.
You can also shortlist a candidate from their full profile by clicking into any candidate form the list, then choosing Shortlist.
Note:
If you want to un-shortlist a candidate, simply re-click the checkmark icon. However, when you do this, the candidate will be archived to the point where they will no longer appear in your search results. You can not re-shortlist them in the same search. Note that un-shortlisting a candidate DOES NOT remove them from any campaigns that were created using the shortlist. You'll need to remove those users from the campaign if you no longer want to contact them. How to Bulk Shortlist Candidates
- Find the already conducted search from which you want to shortlist multiple candidates.
- Navigate to the External Sourcing Tab.
- Click the Bulk Shortlist button.
- Select the number of candidates you wish to bulk shortlist. You can also provide any custom value between 1 - 500. Click the Custom option and provide your value in the space provided.
- Click Shortlist Only to begin bulk shortlisting. If you wish to create or choose a campaign for these bulk shortlisted candidates click Shortlist & Choose Campaign.
Note:
Findem shortlists candidates in the order they appear in the search results. For example, if you have chosen to bulk shortlist 100 candidates, the first 100 matching candidates will be shortlisted.
