How to shortlist a candidate directly from LinkedIn

Findem extension makes it possible for you to add any candidate you are viewing on LinkedIn directly to any shortlist on your Findem account.

How does it work?

Pre-requisite: You should have Findem's chrome extension installed and enabled. In case you haven't installed the extension yet, check out how to install the Findem extension.

1. Open the LinkedIn profile of the candidate you wish to shortlist.
2. By default, the Findem extension will be hidden. To pin it, click the Extensions icon on your Chrome browser and click the pin icon.

3. Click the Findem extension on chrome.

   
   
   
    

4. The Chrome Extension shows a condensed view of the enriched profile, including contact information, profile links, Recent Interactions, and Attributes.
5. To shortlist a candidate, click the Select Search dropdown under the Sourcing section. Select the search name to which you would like to shortlist this candidate. Findem provides the option to Shortlist and Reach Out to the candidate directly, Shortlist Only, which will pick up the default outreach campaign if you have one set up, or Send an InMail if you have that ability with your LinkedIn account.
   

The Findem extension also adds a Findem bar to email campaigns in your Gmail and Outlook inbox with relevant information about the candidate and the Search that they are shortlisted to. You can see and set their response type inline.

Reviewing shortlisted candidates on LinkedIn

When you're reviewing a shortlist using the Findem Chrome Extension on LinkedIn, the extension is designed to open and load one shortlisted candidate’s LinkedIn profile at a time. After a candidate’s profile opens and their details load in the extension,  click Next at the bottom of the extension to move to the next candidate in your shortlist.

There is no one-click bulk-open option to open all shortlisted LinkedIn profiles simultaneously. Opening many LinkedIn tabs at once can trigger LinkedIn rate limits, so it’s best to pace your clicks and review candidates one by one using the Next button.

Lookalike Profiles

If you find a promising candidate on LinkedIn and want to discover similar profiles, use the Lookalike Profile feature. This allows you to build a new search based on that profile's characteristics.

To use this feature:

1. Go to New Project in your Findem account.
2. Select Lookalike Profile.
3. Enter the LinkedIn profile link in the text box. You can add up to 3 profile links here.
4. Findem will help you build a new search based on that profile's attributes.
