Cloning a Project

You're able to duplicate, or clone Projects in a few clicks! To clone a Project:

1. Login into your Findem account.
2. On the Findem Homepage, click on the three dots located on the right of the Project you wish to clone. Then, click on Clone.
   
3. Add the Project Owner, Name and Description for the cloned search as needed.
   
   
    
4. Check the boxes for including shortlists and shortlist ratings, if needed.
5. Always keep the option - Include Private Queries checked. This will create a copy of attributes used in the account under Clone Project Owner.
6. A notification of success - Successfully Cloned Project - will be shown at the top of the page.

Cloning as a Collaborator

If you're a collaborator (not the Project owner), cloning from the collaborator/homepage listing can sometimes fail with an "Error during cloning". This can happen when there is a mismatch between the Project owner's account and your user-to-account mapping.

As a workaround, open the original Project itself and click Clone from within the Project page. Cloning from inside the Project uses the correct context and usually succeeds. This requires that you have access to open the original Project.

• If you cannot open the original Project and still receive an "Error during cloning," contact Findem Support. Include whether the project owner differs from you (the collaborator) and whether the error occurs when cloning from the homepage vs. from within the project.
