Advance/Reject In Progress Status
What is it?
We've introduced a number of usability upgrades when advancing/rejection applications in the Inbound Candidates tab of your project, including:.
- "Advancing or Rejecting" in progress states to provide context to a user that we're working on it
- A progress bar now appears when bulk rejecting
- There's now an easy way to filter failures
Why did we build it?
Customers were left confused if/when an application was successfully advanced or rejected. Their perception was that the product was not working/taking long to load, when in reality, things were in progress. There was just no visual indicator of that.
Affected workflows
- Advancing or rejecting an application (one at a time or in bulk)
UX Upgrades to Inbound Applicants and Resume Parsing States for Greenhouse, Workday, iCIMS, and Jobvite ATS
What is it?
We've improved the flow when providing a score on the candidate in the inbound applicants tab. Findem now displays the score only if the resume was successfully considered as part of the score. If the resume is processing, or failed to be considered, Findem shows a new state in replacement of the score.
- Enhancement to provide context that a resume is still being processed, completed or failed to process. No score will appear in these cases.
- Recruiters are always able to download and review the resume if an error occurred, or if they would like to evaluate the candidate while a resume processing is in flight.
Why did we build it?
Resume data is the gold standard data for Inbound applicants. Users expect that the score generated on the inbound applicants tab is considering the resume data directly.
In some cases, the resume was not being considered in the match score if it was "processing, fetching, failed to process" and the score shown was only considering public profile information. This left users confused when data changed.
Once the processing was complete the score may even change.
When will the rest of the ATS integrations have this enhancement?
Ashby, Lever, SAP, Smart Recruiters are expected to ship early January of 2025.
Improved Clarity Around Expected Send Times for Campaigns
What is it?
We've improved the transparency around expected send times for campaign steps in the campaign editor within projects. Specifically:
- The sub-text below the step name will always show the expected send time and date. If there is no time it will say something like, "Sending around this time tomorrow."
- We ensured continuity between send configurations in both campaign editors.
- We added an expected send time and date to the configuration screens that will update as users change the configurations.
Why did we build it?
We've seen confusion around when emails will send. This was because previously, we were not showing the send time, and if the preferred send time was missed, emails would go out the next day. In addition, customers were struggling to understand the impact of their configurations (days delayed and days of the week).
