Seniority Attribute
What is it?
We now have a Seniority section in the sidebar of any given project!
Why did we build it?
Users often find it difficult to navigate titles going between domains where seniority of a candidate is not fully reflected by their title. The new Seniority attribute offers an easy-to-sort list of seniority levels that's faster than typing in various titles and potentially missing some.
Why not just use curated titles?
Curated titles are a smart composition of title synonyms but do not go between time periods. Seniority attributes surface matching candidates from the past 3 years in the chosen seniority bracket.
As an example, consider entry level and training positions; they have a very wide net of current titles that are not predictable. Seniority attributes applies logic like "Less than 5 years of overall experience" and "Graduated in the last 3 years" and other rules that surface candidates who truly are entry level and in training.
Continents in Location Attribute
What is it?
Users can now search continents in the Location attribute section of a project; and yes, that includes Antartica.
Why did we build it?
It can take a long time to type out all countries you want to look in when searching in regions like EMEA and APAC.
Mile radius does not go beyond country borders, but there are regions in the world where people cross country borders to go to work.
Profile Lookup and Add to Shortlist Improvements
What is it?
- When using the profile lookup feature > candidate > Add To > Shortlist, and set the filter to ORDER BY RECENCY, you will see the last updated projects appear at the top in the list.
- When you're inside a project > lookup > candidate > Add To > Shortlist, the default option will be the project you're in.
Why did we build it?
Users have flagged that as the list of projects grows longer, it's difficult to look for the right one.
With this update, you can save time by pre-populating the project name.
Updated Findem Verified Coding Attributes
What is it?
Previously, when compiling Must-Have and Nice-to-Have code language skills for candidates, Findem would show both Findem Verified and non-Findem Verified skills of the same language. This caused confusion. We've removed the non-verified options from the dropdown to ease confusion and only highlight the Findem Verified versions.
We did an analysis and saw little value in the curation of non-verified attribute compared to a straight keyword. "Findem Verified" skills remain as coding contribution-based attributes.
Why did we build it?
See the first screenshot for what we previously showed -- two Findem Curated attributes per language, in addition to the ability to set the term as a keyword. The second screenshot is what we have now -- just the coding contribution-based attribute, in addition to keywords. This is available in both the boolean modal and the dropdown in the sidebar.

Company Lists 2.0
What is it?
With the updated company lists feature, users can now:
- Create company lists by pasting names of companies separated by new line
- Import a list of companies from a CSV or Excel file
- Re-map companies we were not able to identify correctly. If Findem doesn't recognize a company you input, you can keep it as a keyword in your search criteria, or you can go to the Table view to view the unmatched company(ies) and map it to a specific company in Findem's database.
- Have your mapped companies searched by domain and unmapped companies searched by keyword
- Add companies into a new or existing company list
- Combine two or more company lists into a bigger list
- Use AI suggestions for similar companies
Click here for more on custom company lists.
Why did we build it?
- Building a company list was a cumbersome, non-repeatable process
- Super inconsistent modals from different entry points leading to a lot of confusion
- It looks really cool
New Auto-Unsubscribe Options for Nurture Campaigns
What is it?
We’re excited to release new Advanced options for nurture campaigns to improve candidate experience around an unsubscribe intent.
Why did we build it?
With a couple of deep dives at mass nurture campaigns, we discovered a pattern of candidates replying with emails saying “unsubscribe me” or had various harsh/profane text. We made the call to honor the intent automatically, so the onus is not on the customer to deal with candidates who wish to unsubscribe. This is particularly helpful if someone is using a shared inbox as the sender/doesn’t have a reply to email set. So with these mass nurture campaigns it’s a lot more likely that any replies will be missed.
More details
- This will support automatically unsubscribing people from the company’s nurture campaigns who 1) reply with profanity or 2) reply with text indicating a desire to unsubscribe. This will be as if the candidate clicked the “unsubscribe” link in the email.
- For all new nurture campaigns, these options will be turned on by default.
- Existing campaigns will have the ability to turn on these options.
