What Does the Insights Report Contain?

What is the Insights Report?

Your Findem environment will have an Insights report that contains a summary of your Project data. Findem's Insights reports offer a complete view of the Project's talent pool, enabling talent teams to engage in data-driven discussions about target markets and strategic actions.

For example, if you are collaborating with a hiring manager and they want to assess whether they are targeting overly senior candidates, they can use the Matches by job title page to review the candidates' titles. This is a great way to review and refine the search criteria. Each time you adjust the Project, you need to reopen the Insights report to access the updated analytics.

Be sure to note the descriptions and disclaimers on the left side of the report, which are designed to help both you and the hiring managers understand the information included.

You have the option to download the report from the top of the page or share a link to it. Those without a Findem account will still be able to view the report. If you prefer to share specific sections, you can print the report and customize it by selecting only the required pages.

Please note that when your talent pool exceeds 10,000 candidates, the Insights report will display statistics based on a sample of the first 10,000 candidates. A disclaimer will be shown in sections where data sampling is applied.

How do Project Changes Affect the Insights Report?

Removing candidates from search results does not automatically change the pool that the Insights report analyzes. The report continues to work on the overall talent pool available for your search criteria. To get more accurate insights, modify your search criteria directly.

Currently, the Insights report may display similar job titles (like 'Senior Application Engineer' and 'Senior Applications Engineer') as separate entries. Our Product team is working on enhancing this to consolidate similar job titles for clearer reporting.

If you notice irrelevant job titles appearing in your search results (for example, 'Caregiver' appearing in searches for Registered Nurse roles), Findem's Support team can help you refine job title filtering. Contact Findem Support to customize your search parameters and reduce irrelevant job title suggestions in your reports.

Data Exporting

For exporting data, Findem currently offers limited export options, typically through a shortlist Excel/XLS format, to protect candidate privacy. If you have specific reporting needs, please discuss potential custom solutions with your Findem representative.

Running Insight Reports on Shortlists

You can run insight reports on a shortlist, which allows you to generate insights on a more tailored and condensed list of results. Previously, insights were only available for entire search results, but the feature has been enhanced to support shortlist-specific insights.
