As part of the Workday integration with Findem, your admin user will need to fetch a required Dynamic Business Process Definition file (BPD). Follow the instructions below to gather that document.
Also please note, if there are any changes made to the application workflow in Workday, the BPD is affected, and will need to be updated in Findem. An outdated BPD file directly affects the Advance and Reject flow in Findem.
There are also instructions on how to update/replace the file included below.
Fetch the Business Process Definition File
- As the Workday Admin user, from the Workday search bar type in bp: job app
- Select Job Application (Default Definition).
- Select View Dynamic Definition.
- Click OK.
- Select the Export as Excel icon in the top right corner. This will download an Excel file to your computer.
Update the Business Process Definition File
To update the BPD file at any time:
- From the Integrations > Workday menu, click Step Mapping > Options > Delete File.
- A modal will appear. Choose Delete File again to permanently erase the existing file.
- Once back on the main Step Mapping page, select the option to Upload your Workday Business Process File.
- Upload the new BPD file, and you're all set.
