Set up an API Key in Thrive

Findem uses an API credential pair to connect with Thrive. You'll need to generate an API key as the Thrive Admin user, then plug in that key to Findem. 

Assign Required Permissions for the API Key in Thrive

Once you've created the API key, you as the Thrive Admin user will need to assign the key appropriate permissions in order for the integration to work in Findem. Here are the required permissions:

Create a new candidacy

Update an existing candidacy

Retrieves all Candidacies

Retrieves a single Candidacy

Retrieves the candidacy comments of the specified candidacy

Retrieves a single candidacy comment from the specified candidacy

Retrieves the tags of the specified candidacy

Connect the Integration from Within Findem

When finishing the connection from within Findem, you will need the API key you just generated.

1. As the Findem Admin user, log in to Findem and navigate to Admin > Integrations.
   
2. From the Connect ATS menu, select Manage > Connect your ATS system.
   
   
3. Select Thrive from the ATS options.
4. Enter the API key and click Save.

Mapping ATS Stages for Inbound Applicants

To map various stages from your Thrive ATS to Inbound applicants in Findem:

1. Head to Integrations > Thrive > Manage > Stage Mapping.
   
2. Select from the dropdowns:
   1. Which ATS stages should be in the Inbound Applicants tab
   2. Which ATS stages should be excluded when advancing an application
   3. Which rejection reasons should be excluded when rejecting an application
3. Scroll down to group and map existing ATS stages to Findem stages. This helps us organize your data into logical buckets. Click and drag any applicable variable within each stage. You can also set SLA days for each stage.
