Troubleshooting Common Integration Issues
Linking Jobs in Ashby
You can link jobs in Ashby in two primary ways:
- Directly through job cards, which display available jobs
- By manually linking an existing project to a job
Note: Ensure you have the correct permissions and that jobs are in an 'open' or 'posted' status to be linkable. If you're experiencing issues with job visibility, check your system permissions and job status.
API Integration Sync Issues
If your Ashby API integration is not syncing job cards or candidate data:
- Verify that the API key is correctly configured and permissions are set up
- Check the integration status page to confirm permissions
- Contact support if no data appears to be syncing after 1-2 weeks
- Be aware that the sync process involves multiple stages (candidate sync followed by job posting sync)
Mapping ATS Stages for Inbound Applicants
To map various stages from your Ashby ATS to Inbound applicants in Findem:
-
- Head to Integrations > Ashby > Manage > Stage Mapping.
- Select from the dropdowns:
- Which ATS stages should be in the Inbound Applicants tab
- Which ATS stages should be excluded when advancing an application
-
Which rejection reasons should be excluded when rejecting an application
- Scroll down to group and map existing ATS stages to Findem stages. This helps us organize your data into logical buckets. Click and drag any applicable variable within each stage. You can also set SLA days for each stage.
