What is the Highlighting Tool?
The highlighting tool's main function is to help make scanning resumes and candidate information easier. The tool lets users mark up text in different areas of the Findem platform in different colors to make important terms and phrases stand out.
How to Access the Tool
From the main project landing page, click the yellow highlighter icon to configure the tool.
Default Search Highlights
When you open the tool, Findem will automatically highlight certain terms related to your current search so you can quickly scan candidate profiles and resumes.
Default highlights won't always match 1:1 with attributes, but are designed to surface closely related skills, titles, and keywords that are relevant to your search intent.
Viewing Highlighted Keywords in Resumes
Originally available for candidate profiles, we've integrated the highlighting tool directly into resumes, meaning you can quickly identify keywords and other key information across a candidate's application materials, even in complex, heavily formatted documents.
- Custom highlighting: Allows users to mark up specific text in different colors
- Expanded to resumes: Scan candidate resumes easier by highlighting particular keywords you're looking for
- Visible across materials: Highlights appear in resumes, cover letters, and the inline as well as full-screen viewers
