Connecting your Findem Project to the corresponding job in your ATS allows you to seamlessly sync profile and job updates between both platforms and dedupe candidates that you may have already reached out to.
Note:
You can only link a Project to an ATS job if you have an ATS connected to your Findem account. Learn how to connect your ATS with Findem.
How It Works
- You can connect an ATS job to an already create project from the Findem Projects Page by hovering over the Project in question, then choosing Connect ATS from the dropdown.
- You can also start a new Project with Copilot based on your open ATS jobs.
-
Select the corresponding job from the ATS Jobs dropdown.
- Select whether you want to export candidates to your ATS as either prospects or applicants, and choose the stage to which you'd like to export the candidates. The stages in the dropdown reflect those in your ATS.
5. Select whether you want Findem to automatically export candidates to your ATS or if you prefer to do it manually. We recommend opting for automatic exporting to enhance efficiency.
6. You can choose to export all candidates in a campaign or only those who respond to a campaign, and select which type of response to export.
7. Select which email addresses associated with the candidate you would like to export.
8. Click the save button to save the options for the designated search. Findem will automatically start exporting candidates to your ATS as per the selected settings.
FAQ
Q: Which jobs are visible when linking to an ATS job?
Only open jobs will appear in the dropdown for linking to a project. Jobs in draft status or closed jobs will not be available for selection. Findem syncs jobs from your ATS every 1 hour and 15 minutes, so if a job changes state (such as from draft to open), it may take up to an hour to refresh that new status.
Q: How does Findem handle job links for positions that are no longer active?
When a position becomes filled, Findem removes the ATS Job Link. However, the Job Description link and associated campaign remain active.
Q: What should I do if ATS jobs are not showing up in my Findem dashboard?
If ATS jobs are not displaying in your Findem dashboard, try these solutions:
- Review your ATS connection settings to ensure the integration is active
- Check your career site scraping settings
- Manually verify job IDs
If issues persist after these steps, contact Findem support for further assistance.
Q: What should I do if I can't link my Findem project to an ATS job?
If you're unable to link a project to an ATS job:
- First, try linking the project directly to the target ATS job from the ATS Jobs dropdown instead of moving candidates between different projects.
- If the link still won't save or the job doesn't attach correctly, contact Findem Support so they can assist with linking the job on your behalf and performing any required candidate exports.
Q: Why might my Findem/Copilot project name differ from the ATS job name, and does that affect candidate visibility?
A Copilot Project can be started from one ATS job and later be linked to a different ATS job. This can create a difference between the project name in Findem/Copilot and the ATS job name.
This naming discrepancy does not affect candidate visibility. As long as the project is linked to the correct ATS job, the appropriate candidates will appear under the relevant tabs (such as the Inbound Applicant tab) based on that ATS job's data.
Q: What should I do if my project page becomes unresponsive when starting an Existing ATS Job?
If you encounter page unresponsiveness when starting an Existing ATS Job, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Refresh the page.
- Check your internet connection.
- Clear your browser cache.
- Try accessing the project from a different browser or device.
If the problem persists, contact our Support team with details about when and how the issue occurs.
Q: What should I do if a job is not showing on the career site?
If a job is not appearing on the career site, follow this troubleshooting process:
- First, log a ticket with Findem.
- Verify the job's status in your ATS.
- Check if the job is correctly labeled (e.g., 'external' vs 'internal').
- If Findem confirms everything is correct on their end, then escalate to your support team for further investigation.
Q: How do I ensure the job title is correctly pulled from a linked ATS job into an Auto Personalization Campaign?
When linking an ATS job to a project, the system should automatically pull in the job title as it appears in the ATS. Users should review the imported title to ensure it matches their desired job description. If there are discrepancies, you may need to manually adjust the title after import.
Q: What should I do if the job URL is not populating when linking an ATS job to a campaign?
If the job URL is not automatically populating when linking an ATS job to a campaign, contact Findem Support. The development team has been working on resolving such issues, and they can help verify the system's current behavior and assist with populating the correct job information.
Q: What should I do if I notice a discrepancy in job description links when creating a Findem project?
If you notice different job description links when creating a Findem project, you should:
- Verify the correct job posting URL.
- Manually update the project with the correct posting link.
- Contact Findem Support to report the issue, as they are tracking this as a potential system enhancement.
- Ensure the correct link is used to maintain accurate candidate tracking and application processes.
