What permissions are needed for Gmail integration?

Gmail Integration Overview

Findem integrates with Gmail using OAuth APIs to provide a seamless & automated experience for running outreach on candidates across any search. Some benefits of this integration include the ability to: 

• Quickly send series of pre-scheduled emails to a shortlist of candidates
• Automatically stop campaigns for candidates who respond
• View candidate responses and sentiment classification within the Findem platform
• Capture outreach metrics and insights to measure pipeline movement 
• Utilize the Findem Chrome Extension from the inbox to assist email workflow and planning

Gmail Scope Requirements

To enable these features and more, we require the following permissions:

1. Read messages
2. Compose and send messages
3. Manage forwarding and CC mail settings
4. Read labels
5. Create and update labels

Findem intercepts relevant reply-emails only and will never read all emails in the mailbox. This is done by using metadata such as Labels/Category, SMTP/Message Identifier, Thread Identifier, and Sender/Receiver & Subject.

Findem supports other email delivery options if you do not wish to integrate with Gmail:

• Perform outreach using Findem-generated email
  • (Optional) Add yourself as CC & forward on all campaigns
  • (Optional) Use custom domain to send emails
