As a final effort in case Findem is unable to find any email addresses, you're able to contact candidates via LinkedIn Messaging. From the shortlisted candidates list, you'll see the option to message the candidate on LinkedIn.
There's a drop down under the Campaign Status column of your campaign to mark candidates as reached out. Then once they respond via LinkedIn, you can go to the dropdown and specify the response type. This allows easy tracking of LinkedIn activity and will work in line with the campaign workflow with less manual effort on your part.
Users can update a candidate’s campaign status to “Message sent via LinkedIn.” This status can be toggled back if needed for flexibility.
- Clicking the option will display a confirmation modal.
- Clicking Confirm will update the status to "Messaged on LinkedIn" and stop the campaign. This change will also appear in the Activities tab on the candidate's enriched profile (see image below).
This will lead to streamlined campaign management. When the status is updated to "Message sent via LinkedIn," the candidate is automatically removed from the campaign to ensure cleaner workflows and accurate tracking.
- Activity Logging: Every status change is logged in the candidate's activity feed, providing a clear record of when a candidate was removed from a campaign and messaged via LinkedIn.
- Response Tracking: Once the status is set to "Message sent via LinkedIn," a new dropdown appears, allowing users to specify and track the candidate's response type.
- Campaign Re-Entry: If a candidate is manually added back to the campaign, their status will remain consistent with the workflow logic, ensuring campaigns maintain their integrity.
Note that you may need to send a request before starting a chat with the candidate, depending on their LinkedIn privacy settings.
Findem Extension
Once the status has been changed, if you have the Findem extension installed, the extension will pre-populate with the first campaign message. You can then send that message directly to the candidate on LinkedIn.
